MAKES ONE SINGLE DOUGH PIZZA CRUST (DOUBLE THE RECIPE FOR DOUBLE DOUGH PIZZA CRUST)
1 CUP WARM WATER (APPROX 110 DEG F)
3 TBLSP ACTIVE DRY YEAST (OR 3 PACKAGES)
4 TBLSPS EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (OR BUTTER FLAVORED VEGETABLE OIL)
BLEND WARM WATER AND YEAST, COVER AND LET STAND FOR 5-10 MINUTES. MIXTURE SHOULD BEGIN TO FORM A BUBBLY SKIM ON TOP IF YEAST IS GOOD. THIS IS CALLED PROOFING THE YEAST AND MAKES SURE THE YEAST IS GOOD BEFORE YOU ADD THE OTHER INGREDIENTS.
