Comes complete with the metal bullet inner case and the large handled plastic outer case. Both cases show wear...they have performed the function they were intended to do. Both cases have some identifying marks that won't come off.
The theodolite itself has few flaws caused by use. There is a small spot in the finish on the base, some few scratches and rubs of little consequence, and that's about it! It does have two areas where identifying marks were engraved by the original owner. The optics are clean and clear. Both liquid levels are functional. All moving mechanisms work as new.
