The 8014 has all the electronic features needed for efficient typing: 202 characters of correction memory, a relocation key for quick positioning after correcting, forward and reverse indexing, stencil mode, and repeat capability on all keys. Standard on every 80 14 is a Keyboard II key which accesses 10 extra characters above the number keys. With this feature, footnote numbering. bulleted itemizing, and trademark registrations can be incorporated into routine typing without switching printing elements A vertical line character on the Keyboard II provides the capability for graphs and charts. Typing speeds up to 16 characters per second are possible, with a 30 character buffer memory for extra-quick spurts of typing. The 8014 uses an interchangeable 100-character daisy printwheel - the same flexible printing method used by the newer computer printers. Daisy wheels are available in all of the popular type styles and there is a choice fo three types of ribbon, including one that comes in colors [brown. blue, red).
