Ten pounds of 3M All Weather Paint Elements. Sprinkle on top of paint for a retroreflective finish. For road work, add microspherical glass beads on top of the microcrystalline elements. These paint elements cause a many-fold increase in retroreflectance in wet conditions over glass beads alone.
Ten pounds is enough for about 900 linear feet of 4" stripe, or 300 square feet of paint.
3M s bonded core elements consist of a blend of microcrystalline ceramic beads embedded on a center core to provide optimal performance in both wet and dry conditions. The bonded core elements are specifically treated for application onto the paint as the first drop of a doubledrop system. The elements are visible dry, during a rainfall and after rainfall, providing the motorist visibility in all weather conditions.
