Asplundh brush chipper owners manual - older basic unit
The manual is for an older series Asplundh woodchipper, the type they first made that DID NOT have the air blower fan on the side of the flywheel.
They called this the "Basic Unit".
These are the style of chippers that do not have self feeding feed wheels on them.
The manual has complete parts breakdowns and diagrams for 9 inch, 12 inch, and 16 inch chippers without the air assist blowers.
It has a great section on how to properly change and adjust the blades. I wish I would have had a copy of that when I owned the chipper! It also includes information on setting the bed knife which is usually what is wrong with a chipper when the wood will not feed in easily.
