One pound of anhydrous citric acid - USP (pharmaceutical) grade which is the highest purity available. Crystalline/granular form (about the same consistency as table sugar). It's packaged in a food grade ziplock bag.
Citric acid has a wide variety of uses. It's a natural preservative and is also used to add a sour taste to foods and beverages. It softens water and is used to make soaps, detergents, cleaners, bath salts and bath bombs. It's also used in photographic film development, in wine and beer making, etc., etc.
Can cause eye irritation. Symptoms may include tearing, redness and swelling of eyes.
