This is one of the most popular level transits and features rough angle turning and fine tuning adjustments. The leveling base has 3 leveling screws, like most automatic levels and lasers. Telescope turns sideways as well as up and down so, in addition to what you can do with ordinary levels, you can plumb walls, set slopes, true forms and align poles and fence posts.
