IET STS-1600 Semiconductor and Component Tester
A powerful test and troubleshooting tool. It is integrated with a built in LCD display so that it serves as a very flexible laboratory or inspection tool in addition to performing various component testing functions.
In the basic mode, it can display the voltage-current signature characteristics of a test component and automatically compare it with a reference component. The LCD display is used to represent a graph of (X), the voltage versus (Y), the current.
Using the optional (not included) STS-1510 Component Comparator, the system allows the comparison of any pin of a stand-alone integrated circuit or one that is part of a printed circuit board. This provides a method for testing and troubleshooting suspect or defective printed circuit boards without having to perform involved examination of the circuits.
