power supply for 100 watt fm transmitter
This transmitter module is constructed on an aluminium heat sink with cooling fan so you can get set up fast! The audio response is 20 Hz to over 15 KHz. Believe me, this unit sounds just like the big stations! Excellent base and highs!!! Power adjustment can be made smoothly from a few watts to 100 watts using the power control on the front panel. You can program the transmitter to any frequency from 87.5 to 107.9 MHz in 100 KHz steps by pressing the recessed UP or DN buttons. This is a very unique feature since you do not have to set any internal switches to change frequencies!
The transmitter uses a wideband amplifier board and very powerful cooling fan for high reliability. Reliability is number one since it is probably the most important thing to consider when investing in a high power transmitter. The use of a wideband amplifier and wideband exciter eliminates the need to retune any stages when you change the frequency. If you use this unit with a wideband antenna you can change the frequency as often as you wish without ever doing anything more than using the remote control!
Phase Lock Loop, (PLL) circuitry ensures you will have a very stable signal at all times. An internal lowpass filter will ensure that the harmonics are very low so you don't interfere with other radio communications in higher frequencies.
