* Unlike other less expensive import vises, SV440 offers key improvements to prevent jaw lifting by using a 45 degree wedge and a pivoting ground finished steel hemisphere in a milled pocket to hold down the movable jaw while stationary jaw features integral key to increase holding strength and hold down by 2 large cap socket screw (3/8" x 2-1/4")
