DYMAX LIGHT-WELDER PC-3D UV LIGHT CURER
The Dymax Light-Welder PC-3D is an integrated, medium intensity UV/visible light source and manual adhesive dispensing system, that allows rapid application of adhesive and subsequent curing. UV/visible light is generated by the lamp in the housing and transmitted through a flexible liquid lightguide. The lightguide can be hand-held or machine mounted for manual or automated applications. A hand-held manifold is provided that couples the lightguide and syringe together for maximum control over the placement and curing of adhesive. The PC-3D is ideal for wire tacking, coil terminating, strain relief, PCB assembly, tamperproofing, coating, masking and other spot curing applications. The lamp is user friendly, easy to operate, clean room compatible and cost effective, because the adhesive cures "on demand" when you are ready, not when the adhesive is.
The PC-3D consists of a housing containing a 50 Watt power supply, circuit protection, power-on light, lamp/reflector assembly, cooling fan, lightguide mount and electric shutter. Electric shutters are supplied with timed an manual operating modes. The lightguide is separate and plugs into the mount on the front of the unit. The adhesive dispenser is designed to dispense adhesive from a 10ml or 30ml syringe. Adhesive dispensing is done with an air pressure/dispense timer system. A vacuum draw back feature is included to prevent dripping of low viscosity adhesives, and operation is controlled by a foot switch, which initiates the dispensing cycle. Initiating the dispense cycle causes the dispensing timer to energize a solenoid valve for a predetermined time. In the manual mode, the solenoid valve is energized directly.
This unit does not have a Light Bulb installed.
