A heavyweight ink jet paper with a flat matte finish for photographic quality output. Long life output, greater than traditional 35mm color prints, when used with the Stylus Photo 870, 875DC and 1270 printers. Many photographers and artists prefer printing on a non-glossy paper for their output. Currently available Matte papers exhibit base cockle under heavily saturated images. Matte Paper - Heavyweight is a thick paper with a photo feel that will not cockle with heavily saturated images and still deliver photo quality prints. When printed with the new Stylus Photo 870, 875DC and 1270, print life in normal display conditions can exceed that of traditional color photographs. This is the first such product from a major manufacturer that can boast of such lightfast properties. As with all photographs, in order to take care of the picture, it is recommended that the print be placed in a glass frame to protect the print from environmental contaminants.
