* Firebrick Solutions Firebrick Castable is a high temperature concrete that will withstand up to 3000 degrees. It is a powder mixture that contains a blend of ceramic aggregates and cement binders for use in the repair of stoves, fireplaces, barbeque grills, heaters, furnaces, wood stoves, coal stoves, and other heat units that have ceramic linings.
* To use place the dry material into a bucket or bowl and stir in enough water until a desired consistency is achieved, much like regular concrete that is used for patios and sidewalks. Place the wet material into the open void that is in need of repair. Vertical surfaces will need a form to hold the material in place while it sets up. The set time will be less than 24 hours. Once heated it will become very hard and perform much like the original lining.
