The 6400 series scanning units are ideal for all routine teaching, laboratory and research environments.
Model 6400 has wavelength range of 320 to 1100nm, model 6405 has wavelength of 190 to 1100nm.
They have full scanning capability with 3 scan speeds and intervals, baseline correction, automatic axis scaling, peak and valley data display, instant display of spectrum and 2 scans stored in memory.
Menu based operation guides the user through all the available modes and ensures that unfamiliar operators are able to complete satisfactory analyses.
The multi-wavelength mode is ideal for applications where difference and ratio analysis can be used quantitatively, eg DNA/RNA composition at 220/280nm.
