The item is a Servo electric motor fitted with a electrically operated brake. These motors are quite powerful and have many applications. The motor has never been used and will come in original box.
The motor comes with a choice of gearboxes which can be interchanged. The gearboxes have been used but not much and are in good condition. The output shaft speed of the gearboxes at nominal voltage is approx.
These units are professionally manufactured to very high standards you would expect from European manufacturer Permotec who were part of the Philips group.

I originally bought these motors for a special heavy duty CCTV pan tilt system for extreme environments.
They are also used on many of the heavy duty pan tilt units you see in town centre CCTV systems
I use one to drive my Hobby lathe.
