Alternative energy wood hydrogen not solar power

This unique, hard-to-find CD has all the plans necessary to build a gasifier that will run a gasoline engine on wood. It is designed so that the average person with average mechanical skills can build it. All instructions and diagrams are easy to understand and interpret. Also, the plans can be reprinted on paper from the CD. You don't have to be an engineer to make this item. It uses easily available components and standard plumbing fittings. Nothing fancy. Just simple construction. Would make a great alternative energy source as well as a great project for technology and engineering classes. Here is an excerpt from the booklet:
"The purpose of this report is to develop detailed, illustrated instructions for the fabrication, installation, and operation of a biomass gasifier unit (this, a "producer gas" generator, also called a "wood gas" generator) which is capable of providing emergency fuel for vehicles, such as tractors and trucks, in the event that normal petroleum sources were severely disrupted for an extended period of time. These instructions are prepared in the format of a manual for use by any mechanic who is reasonably proficient in metal fabrication or engine repair."
This CD has detailed drawings and how to make and troubleshoot the unit. I have read many books on alternative fuels but this is by far the best information I know of on the subject. It is so detailed, I am going to make one of these wood gasifiers for myself. Might even offer them for sale.
With gas approaching $4.00 - $5.00 a gallon, I would think that people who have to commute many miles each day would be able to use something like this. Should work - even with modern day catalytic convertors. The gas produced is supposed to be less polluting than fossil fuels. You can use wood pellets or you can just use small chunks of wood that you harvest yourself.
Another interesting aspect of this technology is the ability to use it to run a generator motor for electricity. Talk about getting off the grid! Wood is our only renewable natural resource. The gas generated using this type of technology is virtually smoke free (amazing huh!).
It is the best, simple easy-to-understand plans I have ever seen. Don't miss this opportunity to be the first in your town to build one of these.
If you are into this type of technology, you won't be disappointed.
Even if you don't plan to do anything now, you may want to do something in the future. Get this CD and store it away - just in case you may need to make one of these wood gasifiers.
