This is a speaker specially designed to improve the clarity and audibility of speech radio for HAM, CB and commercial (taxi) two way radios. The really solid casing exhibits almost no resonance producing un-coloured, clear sound. The sound quality is exceptional, and a vast improvement on built-in speakers.
Not to be confused with cheap rubbish, it is a Motorola accessory part number SSN4018A and built to a very high standard. It is manufactured by Nokia (Nokia part no. HFS-6 HF).
It has an adjustable vehicle mounting bracket (fixing screws supplied).
