C1890 architect or engineer drafting 2 person desk
This is a great, unique partners desk, unlike most partners desks. There are two sloped writing areas. We found a web site that shows various desks from the 1890s. officemuseum.com/photo_gallery_1890s.htm. A photo from this site is shown below. We believe this desk may have been used in an architect's, engineer's or patent office or similar. It is in all original condition. Has one 7 inch crack on on one top corner. Tapered, fluted turned legs with the original castors. Has pen and ink indentations on the top and four drawers. Several oak areas are tigered oak. The lock reads J&T Scott, Dinburg.
33 high x 47 1/2 wide x 50 deep.
