Plucker plate shaft barrel plucking finger book pulleys

Great kit for a DIY poultry plucker like the whizbang! For sale is an aluminum plate for a DIY poultry plucker, Steel flanged shaft, Barrel, and 2 Bearings (pillow blocks), drive and driven pulleys, and 125 plucking fingers. I've attached a picture of a blank plate and also one with the fingers installed. Please note that the fingers do not come installed, you will have to do that yourself. Please note: To aid in the assembly we have chamfered the back side of the plate. This allows you to pull the fingers through the plate much easier.
1 - 20.5" Diameter .190" Thick 5052-H32 Aluminum Feather Plate PreDrilled and chamfered on the back side
1 - 15.5" Steel Shaft with 3.5" Steel Hub (welded construction) to mount to the feather plate (This is predrilled for 4 1/4-20 Bolts)
4 - 1/4-20 Stainless Steel Pan Head Bolts
3 - 1/4-20 Stainless Steel Nylon Insert Lock Nuts
1 - Approx 22.5" Diameter Barrel Cut to the height outlined in the Whizbang Book (approx 20") and Predrilled for the fingers (Chamfered also)
2 - 2 bolt Flanged 1" Bearings (pillow Block). Both have 1 Grease zerk and 2 set screws.
1 - 2.5" Drive pulley (5/8" Bore)
1 - 14.25" Driven pulley (1" Bore)
* Also included now is the Book "Anyone can build a Tub-style mechanical chicken plucker" to aid in the assembly process!!
Please note in an order to keep your costs down and remain competitive, we have changed the shaft design. We are now using a steel shaft and a hub. We will include the hardware to mount the shaft and hub. Please note that you may still receive the welded shaft until we deplete our inventory.
We have built several of the DIY chicken pluckers and used this pattern and it works great. Based on this plate design and the barrels I've used, you'll need 115 or so plucking fingers (always nice to have a few spares also).
Please check back often for all of your plucking needs, as I will be adding additional items (Shafts, barrels, etc.). Also feel free to ask me any questions about the assembly/construction process, I'd be glad to help.
* Generally, if you don t see it in the photo, or it s not described in the listing, you re not going to get it.
* Items only include what is displayed in the listing photos or specified in the item description.
* Do not assume anything ask if you re not sure
