Portable electric line 2-7" boring bar & setting gage
Portable Electric drive Line boring Machine.
Used to repair bores on heavy machinery, not engine work.
Now with Reversible Variable speed Milwaukee drive head.
Includes 3 boring bars, all 1-1/2 inch diameter, that are broached with square tool holes on 3 inch centers that are able to bore from about 2 inch to 4 inch bores. With care you may be able to get down to 1-3/4 bore, but it would be very close. Included are two slide on extender heads that allows for bores up to 5 inch with care.
Also included are two clamp on heads that allow bores up to 7 inch. These tool holders clamp in place with a drive pin that screws into the Broached holes in the bars. These blocks are broached for 1/2 inch square tools. Tools are set with an internal jack screw and lock in place with a set screw.
Also included is a dial indicator tool setting gage. This gage clamps in place thru the adjacent hole to the tool being set. A jacking bolt on the bottom of the gage adjusts the tool when it is used directly in the bars. On the slide on tool heads there is a jack bolt in the bottom of the tool holder. On the Clamp on tool blocks the jack bolt is internal in the block.
The bars are 24, 48, and 72 inch length. This allows for boring from about 12 inch spacing up to 60 inch spacing.
All bars use 1/2 inch square tools.

Included are 2 Universal X-Y adjustable bearing blocks. These have adjustment for precisely aligning the bars by loosening the lock bolts and turning the jack screws to move the bearing on the plate.
Variable speed Milwaukee drive head with manual hand crank feed.
Assorted centering plugs up to 5-1/2 inch diameter and weld on alignment mounts used to hold bearing assemblies.
A pair of 4 way adjustable centering plugs are also included. These work in oblong holes to center the bar.
Comes in a Wooden storage case.
