This is a Davidson Optronics model D-616 (S/N: 4771) plane parallel adjustable reference mirror in good working order with mahogany storage case and all original certificates of calibration and conformance. Unlike the D-615, this fused quartz mirror is polished on both sides to 1/4 fringe flatness and 1 arcsec parallelism, allowing setting of true right angles. Usable surfaces measure 1.75" by 2.75", and may be used with equal facility in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
