Tested spectronic 20+ spectrophotometer, excellent cond
This listing is for a well-tested Spectronic 20+ spectrophotometer. The 20 "plus" differs from the regular spectronic 20 in that it has a pair of switchable glass filters (see bottom left corner) that works with the diffraction grating to reduce any spurious light of improper wavelengths. Machine is in excellent condition. Optical filters are in perfect condition. Sets to 100% absorbance easily and zero's properly as well. I tested it with fluorescein, which has a somewhat narrow absorption maximum. Absorption maximum was measured at 595 nm (as it should be). Also, tested it with dilutions of fluorescein and saw the appropriate linear response. Considering its excellent condition and the fresh bulb I gave it, you should have many hours of problem-free use.
