Bunn cds-3 refrigeration solenoid repair kit
This is a brand new kit to rebuild one refrigerant solenoid in the Bunn CDS-3 machine. This part requires the evacuation and refilling of the refrigerant (Freon) in your machine, and would be accomplished by an EPA-certified refrigeration technician as part of a repair or overhaul of your machine's refrigeration system.
The kit includes a new plunger tube assembly, plunger, plunger spring, plunger tube assembly gasket and capture screw.
The refrigerant solenoid valve is used to allow the machine to send refrigerant independently to the evaporators (cooling tubes) in each of the CDS-3 hoppers. In this way, one refrigeration system can be used to cool three separate zones, and regulation of each zone (hopper) is independent of the other.
