This package includes a Variable Speed Motor Control and the approriate motor to provide full speed control from 0 to 4 times the rated motor rpm. ie. 1140 rpm motor will run from 0 - 4560rpm. The variable speed control is brand new USA made unit. It accepts a 208/240 vac single phase input. the motor is a new surplus 240 vac electric motor. this only requires standard 220/240 vac single phase power. Both speed control and motor are offered with 1 year warranty. They are perfect for use with lathes, saws, grinders, sanders or whatever motorized equipment that you want to control the speed of. they provide forward, reverse, variable speed, and motor overload protection. they can maintain constant torque throughout the rpm range. acceleration and deceleration times can be programmed into them. they can provide braking as well. the speed can be controlled by the buttons on the face of the drive, with a potentiometer or you can have up to 3 preset speeds programmed in so that a press of a button will bring you to the speed you want. there are many other options available with these, connection to other devices such as PLC
