These pumps operate at a low RPM which allows them to run cooler and reach a lower ultimate pressure (1 x 10^4 torr), with less back-streaming. Operating at low speed also reduces the rate of friction and wear on pump components, which ensure a longer service life. Pumps have a rugged design to facilitate touch applications. The Duo-Seal series pumps provide a wide range of pumping speeds from 0.9 to 35 CFM. They incorporate an elliptical bore design which produces a high free air displacement with low RPM.
