EGG COLOR: As you can see they are a very consistent dark brown color. Many of them are specked and frosted too.
CHICKEN BREED INFORMATION: The chicks hatched from these eggs will be heavily bred on Welsummer. They also have some Cucoo Marans and black Penedesenca blood and a little bit of other breeds as well. The chickens pictured are the chickens you are getting eggs from and you can expect your chickens to end up being very similar in color. Some brown, some black, some black with brown necks. The hens from this breeding should lay well most of the year without lights and they are moderately active and not extremely flighty. The roosters are not overly aggressive towards humans or other livestock.
DISEASE TESTED: My flock is certified Typhoid-Pullorum free 7/2009 and the entire flock tested Avian Influenza negative 2/2010.
