Measure Rotation in RPM and Surface Speed in ft/min or m/min
This is a great Contact Tachometer. This unit gives you two measurement options in one meter:
1) It comes with three contact tips that can be used to touch the rotating axle. This is great when a reflcetive tape can not be attached, e.g. due to grease or water.
2) With the precision wheel you can measure the surface speed in ft/min or m/min. This is great for all kinds of belts, e.g. sanding belts, conveyor belts or drive belts of machines.
It is a great tool to measure the RPM of motors and machine parts. In wood and metal working it can be used to accurately measure the speed of a lathe. Other people use it for their model engines and propellers.
