HP / AGILENT 6186C CURRENT SOURCE - EXCELLENT CONDITION
PASSED A 1-MONTH BURN-IN TEST WITH FLYING COLORS
This is another piece of equipment from my personal bench. As with all of these items, they are in great shape and function virtually as well as they did when they were new. This unit has a nearly perfect front panel and no sticker residue. The case is in great shape and it works perfectly.
Typical applications for the HP Agilent 6186C include resistivity measurements, semiconductor characterization, and applications in electrochemistry and electromagnetics.
In the photos you can see it running at 60mA into my Fluke 45 meter (not included). Note the well calibrated current meter. Also note the maximum voltage output I measured is 340V. I show the unit operating at 300V to show the meter calibration. I tested the unit up to 100mA and 300V. It is rock solid.
I will include a copy of the manual too. All schematics are included.
Just for fun, I put a bunch of LED's in series and ran them at 30mA (with just over 120V across the string and NO resistors!). Note that the unit maintained this current for a month as a part of my assurance test.
