South bend lathe 14 steady rest
The unit code for these fine lathes was TT, and that is what is stamped on the pristine condition bottom of this rest. Like one of my friends said - 'how can you do better than NOS, now?'.
I never used this rest, not even once, though it did sit for years in my tooling cabinet. The original box has been misplaced, so that is not included. I know there is sometimes a lot of confusion about finding the right rest for this model lathe, well, here's your chance to get the right one, for sure (if you have a 1970's model 14, variable speed with the square head).
