This Multi-Attitude Special Single Port Cryostat [MAC] portable detector also has a special cryostat design that will not spill LN-2 regardless of detector orientation.
I have a detailed User Manual for this Canberra portable Gamma Spectroscopy Detector & Cryostat unit:
The User's Manual also includes Detector Information Characterization reports.
This detector is a Closed-end coaxial detector with a Diameter of 62.5 mm and a Length of 56.5 mm.. It is described as a Single Port MAC having a 3.0" endcap.
The Canberra detector Purchase Specification and Performance Data Sheet shows NOMINAL specs as:
Canberra's most recent actual data sheet for this detector based on lab characterization tests they did on this detector some time after it was sold, and certain mods had been made, show it to have:
* Relative Efficiency: 43.7 %
* 1.8 kev [FWHM] at 1.33 MeV
* 3.3 kev [FWTM] at 1.33 MeV
* 0.88 kev [FWHM] at 122 keV
* 1.61 kev [FWTM] at 122 keV
I have specific CANBERRA ISOCS CHARACTERIZATION DOCUMENTATION for the above detector which will be included.
The Model 1250 InSpector uses Gaussian Shaping, 1 and 4 microsecond Shaping range, and has a 100MHz Wilkinson Type ADC. This combination of the portable Canberra InSpector MCA, and portable high-efficiency [ 40% nominal R.E. ] HPGe hand-held detector provides a versatile, multi-purpose system which meets the field gamma spectroscopy measurement needs faced in:
* Decommissioning and decontamination work
* Emergency Response environmental sample analysis
* Emergency Field gamma spectroscopy of deposition activity
* Routine field gamma spectroscopy
* And many other in-situ applications

Also, I can supply other specialized user documentation that will facilitate spectral analysis. This includes basic spectroscopy documentation and accessories including all Software Manuals for the Canberra InSpector unit as described above.
THE DETECTOR WAS IN VERY GOOD OPERATING CONDITION WHEN TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE -
Condition of the InSpector Model 1250 unit is unknown at this moment - waiting on the two battery packs and battery charger
