DIGIMATIC ABSOLUTE ABS SOLAR POWERED CALIPERS
The Solar Absolute (ABS) MyCAL is Mitutoyo s latest advancement in caliper technology. This unique caliper incorporates and absolute scale which always reads its true position from the origin point. Power is supplied by built-in solar cells which operate even in low light conditions down to 60 Lux.
The ABS feature eliminates the need for zero setting each time the caliper is turned on. The Solar Absolute MyCAL will always turn on showing its true position (not 0.0000 as standard calipers do). Memory of the origin point will not be lost when power is cut off even if the caliper is left in complete darkness for extended periods. Additionally, the ABS scale provides unlimited response speed which means no more over-speed errors. For comparison measurements an incremental measurement function is also provided.
