This is a direct replacement for Allen-Bradley SLC-500, 5/01, 5/02, 5/03 series converter and cable. This is guarantee to work or your money back. Within the cable contains all the necessary data conversion equipments to communicate between SLC-500, 5/01, 5/02, 5/03 series PLC and PC. This is an RS-232 to Data Highway / DH-485 converter (embedded within the cable), comparable to the converter provided by Allen-Bradley for this application. No power supply is needed, as the module draws power from the PLC connection. Cable length 3m(about 9.8ft), 9pin female DSub on PC side and RJ45 plug into the PLC.
