Kingsley machine hot stamping gauge bar side stop clip

Tired of Kingsley's flimsy gauge bar stop slipping, bending or falling off the gauge bar?
It is such a problem that most gauge bars come to my shop without this important piece, either having been lost, forgotten or actually thrown away in frustration. And many base plates arrive covered up in tape used to hold things in place, since the original gauge bar clip won't.
But now there's a much better way.
This specially machined steel tool includes a set screw to lock it in place and keep it there. You can push your paper, book or plastic piece to be imprinted against it and count on it staying. It requires a small Phillips head screw driver which you probably keep near your Kingsley anyway. The set screw is accessed from the front and is easy to tighten into the right position, and then to untighten to move it.
Yeah, I know, it's a little pricey.
But there is a lot of machining that goes into the production of this clip. And at least for now, the volume is low and production setup is high. Can you imagine what must be involved in the threading for that set screw all the way through an extremely narrow part of this tiny clip? Let me tell you, I have recently learned to really appreciate machinists. But the main thing is that it works; I have just finished the first job using this clip, and through the course of over 2000 impressions, it never budged! This clip is a great solution to a pesky old hot stamping problem.
