Lens automatically darkens when an arc is stuck in less than 0.3ms. When welding arc stops the lens returns to the light state allowing you to see your project without having to lift your helmet up and down after each weld!
Darkness sensitivity control knob on the outside from DIN9-13#, plus a time delay switch to control switching time from darkness to light depending on your welding process
Solar cell powered when welding, with battery backup. Helmet automatically turns off after 20 minutes of inactivity.
