This is a Made In USA illuminated magnifier for working on or examining small items. This item allows you to work comfortably keeping your hands free at all times. The articulated arm and multiple adjustments gives you a multitude of viewpoints of your work.
Good for testing, artwork, photo retouching, fine needlework, jewelry making, electronics and camera repair and hundreds of other uses.
The optics are a 3 diopter lens that is a giant 7.5" across. Unlike the cheesy Asia- made models that are blobs of plastic that invite scratches and dust, this model features clear optical glass. Glare- free illumination is provided by a circular fluorescent lamp. The 43" jointed arm clamps to the edge of a desk or work table.
The worklamp is in excellent condition, all adjustments work properly and the lamp bulb is good. This is a high quality piece of equipment. I bought it for model making and miniature artwork.
