This item works now can be used with out printer or when first turned on if been off you sometimes have to cycle power back off wait 2 seconds and back on a time or two to get built'in printer to respond. Once booted on with printer responding, if then left on printer will keep working fine with no issues. This is common problem on units over 7 years old because of weak switching power supply according to tech support. Cost of repair with parts and labor to replace switching power supply if sent in is only $240 thru Met one service. Most of these listed will be due for this service. This one is a low use unit in good shape this sevice will make it like new again but not needed to use with out printer (Call sevice at 1-(***)-866-8854 to confirm costs).
