Epoxy Resin Kit - Cycloaliphatic Non Blush
Non blush epoxy laminating or coating resin kit, 3 gallons. The kit consists of 2 gallons of resin and 1 gallon of hardener, plus a set of metering pumps. The unique feature of this epoxy is that it will not blush even under high humidity situations. Blush , or "amine blush" as it is known, is a greasy film that rises to the surface of almost all epoxies except for the cycloaliphatic systems. It can be used in the building and repair of a boat, airplane, canoe, kayak, or industrial parts.
It is ideal for use in composite construction with fiberglass, kevlar, or carbon fiber cloth. This is a thin, low viscosity resin that wets cloth out very well. Another great usage of this epoxy is for coating tabletops or counter tops. It also makes very tough small castings. It can be mixed with small pebbles to get that "Pebble Paving" that is seen at resort swimming pools.
The mix ratio is 2:1 by volume, and the work life is approximately 30 minutes. Full cure is approximately 24 hours. Laminates made with this system are extremely strong.
