This hardback book (and the others from this same series currently running) contain some of the most specific details on metal work I've ever seen!! titled; titled; "GRINDING EQUIPMENT AND PRACTICE" / By ICS STAFF / {184} / Published by INTERNATIONAL TEXTBOOK COMPANY / Copyright 1934 ~~//~~ This clearly written and profusely illustrated book is in near mint condition. Seemingly never even fully opened. The pages are pristine! Tightly bound inside of midnight blue embossed (thin) leather covers, (with cobalt/gold over teal marbled endpapers). This 65 year old book looks new inside and out! 128 + Mindblowing etching prints, figures and detailed line cuts, EVERYWHERE you look, absolutely must be seen! Depicting all sorts of grinding and equipment includes; honing cutting tools, thinning drill points, grinding radial chasers, adjusting guide fingers, polishing devices, men and their power tools +++. Light edge wear and faint cover dirt are the only flaws to the outside of this 72-year-old original. Mild yellowing in the intro-index is the single thing keeping the interior of this 5" by 7 beauty from perfection. That s it! I was unable to find a single flaw to the actual text. Its 186 + blue edged, cream colored pages have no foxing brittleness dogears rips tears wrinkles waving odor marks of anykind or even a fingeredge smudge.
