INSTITUTIONAL FOOD SERVICE CART
BULK RETHERM OR INDIVIDUAL PLATES
This is a 2002 Model Institutional Food Service Cart which has a built in Size Convection Oven on one side and an ambient compartment on the other which can be used as either a refrigerated compartment or a food warming compartment.
WOW! Just think about it. Hot or cold, this unit does it all:
* You have a portable food serving cart with a stainless steel surface.
* You have heat strips above the serving surface to keep plates warm.
* You have a built in convection oven.
* You have a built in refrigerator.
* Don't need the refrigerator today? Adjust the temperature as use it as a Food Warming Cabinet.
* Need more food capacity? Add up to 5 - 6x12 insert pans across the top rack.
There are 7 racks in the Convection Oven and 7 racks in the Refrigerator/warmer. The individual racks can slide in or out for easy access, or the entire rack frame can be removed for easy and efficient cleanup.
There are lights and heat strips above the stainless steel serving surface to keep open plates warm, and some of the units have a rack above which will hold up to 5 - 6 x12 Insert Pans for additional food service options.
All of these carts have a built in sneeze guard at the front of the unit.
These carts are mounted on casters, 2 of which are locking. They are extremely easy to roll around and maneuver and move very quietly.
The Multigen II is a two compartment unit consisting of a 7 pan capacity oven chamber and a 7 pan capacity ambient compartment which can be either refrigerated or heated.
This unit is fully programmable and we will supply a manual with each unit sold.
Heating is by forced air convection using Burlodge revolutionary dual oven technology, which when used for rethermalization allows the heating of products with different densities and textures to be achieved over the same time ensuring optimal food quality and temperatures. In addition, the dual oven compartment can be varied in size to meet different meal configurations.
This unit is designed to be used for either 'Bulk Retherm' (Steamable pans of food) or for individual plates (of pans) of food. It has incredible flexibility for foodservice applications of any kind.
The Outside dimensions of this unit are 29 Wide x 48 Long x 62 Tall (Including the extra insert pan rack).
The inner compartments are 13 Wide x 23 Deep x 24 Tall. Each of the shelves will hold trays or half size sheet pans.
Electrical requirements: 3-Phase 208 240 Volts.
THIS IS A VERY CLEAN MACHINE THAT LOOKS GOOD AND WORKS GREAT. WE WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANY INSTITUTION THAT DOES INDIVIDUAL ROOMSERVICE, INCLUDING HOSPITALS, NURSING HOMES, REHABILITATION CENTERS SPECIAL SCHOOLS AND ELDERLY CARE FACILITIES!!!
We have several of these units in stock, and more available. They were in use in a Florida Medical Institution where they were being used in patient foodservice. The only reason they are available, is that they are changing to a different method of foodservice, and are phasing these out.
These units were all professionally maintained and are in good working order.
