INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH Kenmore Model# 158.523 Straight Stitch (with Reverse Feed and ZigZag) sewing machine, serial number# 0094726 built in 1958. Very powerful Kenmore Model 52 in excellent shape. Machine shows well with less than average wear and tear for a machine this age, and really lives up to Kenmore's legendary sewing reputation. I purchased this machine from it's original owner. It has been used mostly for making curtains and upholstery I was told, has been serviced regularly as needed, and sews an excellent stitch as good as the day it was built. This machine is cam sewing capable with the seven included double sided cam providing you with ZigZag, Blindstitch, and 12 other important stitches, making this machine perfect for doing upholstery or repairing sails. Best of all, being a class 15 machine, needles, bobbins, and accessories are available anywhere sewing supplies are sold, even your nearest Walmart. Machine runs smooth, and penetrates dense material with ease, and is loaded with authentic Kenmore accessories. Perfect working ZigZag as seen by the samples. Machine has been cleaned and lightly oiled with Authentic Singer Machine Lube and has had the timing and tolerances checked and is perfect. 6-20 Stitches per inch, with Reverse and ZigZag. Nice cords and original variable speed foot controller. Steel Industrial Size Bobbins. Twin thread sewing capable when used with twin tipped needles available anywhere. Feed dogs are lowerable for Darning, Embroidery, and Freehand work. I am including the original Kenmore model 52 sewing machine owners manual.
