Common symptoms when Eprom is faulty, unit stuck in standby, switches to standby at switch on, no back light.
Please note, the power board can cause similar symptoms as described above. This is normally caused by swollen electrolytic on the bower board, if after replacing the electrolytic and you have the same/similar symptoms, replace the Eprom IC.
As there are many Samsung LCD TV'S that use this Eprom, please contact me with with model number/code to see if it's compatiable.
