A cold saw as described above is usually about $2,000.00 more than this KAMA EV996. Also, the EV996 will give you a much larger cutting capacity of 6 3/4" at 90 degrees. At it cuts straight. And you can cut a wider range of material without having to go to a different pitch a blade. And you can quickly miter by swiveling the head.
The KAMA EV996 is MORE of a general pupose saw and will save you many $$$ in the long haul compare to a cold saw.
