Keuffel & esser survey transit theodolite vintage 1946

This is a vintage Keuffel & Esser Survey Transit. The serial number on this unit is 94735 which dates it around 1946 according to a website I found on Survey instruments.
Physical condition is good for it's age; it does have scuffs and scratches and I believe it may be missing some parts. There are 2 screws missing from the top which hold the optical scope in place (although it will stay in place with just the 2 that are there). I beleive it's missing a needle that would show the angle of the scope. One one of the level bubbles on the base is cracked, and I believe there are supposed to be bubble levels on the bottom of the scope that are not present either.
The optics look clear and I can see through and focus on items properly - the crosshair is clean & clear as well.
This is an all-metal designed unit. There's a compass on the unit; the needle seems to be responding properly and points north The four level-adjustment screws spin properly as well. All other adjustment screws and controls seem to be working fine.
Great piece for adding to a collection!
