This Excel demo application shows how to create a simple application using Visual Basic for Applications within Excel to gather data from the Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC500, and MicroLogix PLC families via an Ethernet network connection. It allows you the capability to communicate from your desktop or laptop computer via an Ethernet connection to your PLC to gather data. The included Allen Bradley driver is an ActiveX dll control and is field tested in several projects and applications.
We provide a pre-built Excel demo example application and example VBA source code is included.
