The 40 Gram Unit of Silica Gel Desiccant Dehumidifying Drying Agent - is in a compact aluminum canister that measures 4" x 2" x 1/2", and will cover an area of 3 cubic feet of enclosed space. It will provide lifetime protection for cases containing guns, cameras, telescopes, laptop computers, musical instruments and safety deposit boxes. Also, ideal for tool, tackle and jewelry boxes as well as a silver flatware box in addition to any small storage area that needs protection from the dangers of high humidity which could possibly cause moisture damage.

Silica Gel Reactivation Instructions:
When the blue silica gel beneath the inspection window turns pink, reactivate as follows: Place the unit in a vented 300 degree F oven for at least 3 hours (or until the silica gel turns blue again).
Warning - Do not touch the aluminum canister after reactivation until the unit has cooled completely!
