Ace Controls A 3/4 x 1. Knurled adjustment ring sets resistance, set screw holds setting. The resistance is mostly hydraulic at the high-resistance setting after the first 1/4 inch of travel. No resistance on return stroke. Stroke about 1 inch or maybe a bit more. Overall a bit over 6" front to back fully extended and about 1 1/4" bottom to shaft center line. 4 mounting holes 3/8 inch spaced 3 x 3 3/8 inches. The bumper on the end of the shaft is metal with a sightly convex surface and a recessed screw holding it on the shaft. Ace Controls, Farmington, MI US Patent 4174098.
