Veneer glue roller combo 4" and 6"

Veneer Glue Roller Combo 4" and 6"
When applying veneer glue, the rule of thumb is that the surface of the substrate should look "heavily painted" with veneer glue. I've found that the easiest way is to use a dedicated glue roller. I'm not talking about the $200 imported rollers with the glue hopper on top. I prefer something simple like the one shown here. I found this 4" re-usable roller to be an excellent means of applying a thin, even coat of veneer glue. It works well with Heat Lock , Ultra-CAT , and regular Better Bond veneer glue.
Use this tool to roll out the veneer glue smoothly and evenly. Doing so will prevent bubbles from occurring in the cured veneer caused by excess glue pockets. The tool has a one-piece plated metal frame mounted to a medium density foam rubber roller. This is not a disposable roller. Just rinse it in warm water while the glue is still wet and you can use it over and over again. Highly recommended!
