Phase converter for a 5HP vfd

VFDs for 480V three-phase motors require a 480V 3-phase supply.
This DriveBooster here connects to a single phase source of 240V.
Output is DC. Connect the DC output permanently to the drive's DC bus input.
This can be used as a single to three-phase converter for a motor in a fan, dust extractor, grinder, conveyor, saw, planer.
It can also be used to run a machine (lathe, mill, saw, spindle moulder, compressor, pump) after electrical changes have been made to the machine:
Bypass the contactor and connect the motor start-stop and, if applicable, the forward/reverse contact to the drive's control input.
If this change is not wanted, get a Booster converter. (A Booster will run three-phase machines on single phase supply without any modification.)
Specifications of this EuroTech DBU-5 here:
Any 5hp drive will produce full power 3.7kW = 5hp for a 440-480V motor. (3 or 7.5hp with smaller or larger DriveBoosters occasionally offered her.)
Supply is 220 - 240V single phase.
20 or 32 amps, depending on drive's acceleration settings.
Dimensions: 200 x 250 x 200 mm
Ambient temperature: 0 to +50 degrees C
Soft start, no inrush current.
100% non-stop power if needed.
Can be used in 50Hz networks to power a 415V three-phase motor.
