THIS IS AN AMERICAN TOOLMAKER MADE V-BLOCK. V-BLOCK IS HARDENED A-2 TOOL STEEL AND MEASURES 2.845" WIDE X 1.999" TALL AND IS 2.98" LONG AND COMES WITH 2 CLAMPS AS SHOWN IN PICS. VEE WIDTH IS APPX. 1.68" AND BLOCK HAS (10) TAPPED 1/4" X 20 HOLES FOR CLAMPS AND ON ENDS FOR STOPS OR TO ATTACH AS NEEDED TO OTHER PRECISE TOOLING. BASE IS ONE PIECE DESIGN WITH SLOT (.30" WIDE X .20" DEEP ON ALL 4 SIDES) NEAR BOTTOM TO CLAMP DOWN AS NEEDED VERY HANDY!!! BASE ALSO HAS RECESS MILLED INTO BOTTOM THAT MEASURES 1-3/4" WIDE x 1/7/8" LONG X 5/8" DEEP AND SLOT (9/16" WIDE) IN VEE ENTERS INTO THIS RECESS VERY HANDY FOR DRILLING THROUGH PARTS WITHOUT DAMAGE TO VEE.
NOT A MARK ON THIS FRESH GROUND V-BLOCK THAT IS VERY HANDY SIZED. VBLOCK WAS GROUND USING HERMANN SCHMIDT SQUARING BLOCK AND HERMANN SCHMIDT MAGNETIC SINE CHUCK AND IS VERY ACCURATE.
