This is the MEDIUM 1660 tie point solderless breadboard with two component distribution strips, four power terminal strips & 3 binding posts, which you affix, in kit form.
I have used similar ones in the past, and these are much better than I am used to. The smaller ones I remember fit a couple ic's, but this baby lets me tie in a couple circuits and still have room to expand!
I like that it has four seperate +/- labled power strips that can be used to power different projects, or jump them together, a real aid when doing more than one thing at a time!
It is nice to leave one or two works in progress on the board, and have enough room for more.
Aluminum mounting plate, ABS plastic body, Nickel plated phosphor bronze contacts. Contact resistance less than 1 milliohm @ 1kHz. Tested for over 10,000 cycles. Snap lock molded dovetail for combining multiple boards. Suitable for 19-29 AWG wire & all DIP size components. Includes plastic box containing various length pre-bent jumpers.
